The Bukit Merah Orang Utan Island Foundation relies heavily on your generous donations to care for its orang utans. All proceeds from your adoption fees and donations are channeled towards: The purchase of food; upgrading of the island’s facilities and research centre; and provision of the medical attention and rehabilitation each orang utan needs to survive.
Adopt an Orang Utan
Make a difference in your favorite orang utans' lives by adopting them! Your adoption fee of RM200 per orang utan will go a long way in ensuring they receive the care and attention they need. Know someone who loves orang utans? Why not adopt an orang utan on their behalf? As proof of your adoption and a token of our appreciation, you will receive:
- An official certificate of adoption;
- An official receipt of adoption;
- A fact sheet on your adopted orang utan
